Airports, airfields & heliports

West-Flanders has a total of five airfields. Along the coast you can find the international airport of Ostend/Bruges and the military base of Coxyde (Koksijde) while in the southern part of our province Kortrijk/Wevelgem is situated and only a few kilometers away is the airfield of Moorsele. At Zuienkerke, north of Bruges, there's also a private microlight field and heliports are located at Diksmuide, Knokke and Spiere/Helkijn. Count to that a couple of sites for parasailing and RC modelling and you can conclude that there's quite a lot to about aviation in West-Flanders.
